Broadband Initiatives Meeting to Take Place on March 10

On March 10, 2009 the Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development, the Department of Commerce's National Telecommuincations and Information Admnistration ("NTIA") and the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") will hold a meeting to examine "Broadband Initiatives in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009." This will be the first of a series of public meetings to discuss the various broadband components of the new Rural Development Broadband Plan.
